Geoff is calm and kind. He has a very practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving. His treatment planning skill and dynamic range as a dentist is immense. He is comfortable when doing complex reconstructive work. Geoff is happy to restore implants or communicate with and facilitate the final restoration by the referring dentist.
The Bicon system lends itself beautifully to the use of both fixed and removable restorations or a combination of the two. Geoff is a natural problem solver and enjoys the challenge of devising a very bespoke restoration for his patients when necessary.
Geoff’s career in implant dentistry began more than 30 years ago. He found that early implant systems were quite complicated devices and often limited in their application. They were tricky to use, not particularly suited to many situations and very expensive both in terms of healing time and cost to the patient if multiple procedures were required.
The Bicon Dental Implant system is comparatively simple and because of that could be used in many different ways. Not only was the system uncomplicated, needing only two parts compared to the four or five that was typical, the implants could be used in considerably shorter lengths when compared to others with predictable results and stable bone levels on healing. This makes a massive difference to what is possible. It reduces the amount of bone grafting that may be required to use standard length implants broadening the number of patients who can benefit from treatment. This all makes for simpler treatment even in otherwise complex cases.
