She is passionate about ensuring that every visit to the dentist is an experience to be enjoyed and looked forward to, whether having their teeth examined or receiving treatment.
This enables the establishment of lifelong habits and dental confidence, helping her patients maintain a healthy mouth and smile for life. Jasleen enjoys delivering continuity of care and building lasting relationships with patients and families.
Jasleen treats children of all ages, from the very youngest up to 16 years of age, including children with special needs. Jasleen is highly experienced, having focussed her clinical practice for the past 15 years on treating children with complex dental problems, which could be due to a high level of disease, special needs, high levels of anxiety or a combination of challenges. She has extensive experience working with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
At the centre of Jasleen’s ethos is prevention. She has developed and honed her skills and techniques over the years to make this possible. She tailors care plans and maintenance which concentrates on the individual needs of each patient.
Jasleen has extensive experience in treating children under Inhalation Sedation. Her calming and gentle approach has helped her patients grow in confidence in the dental chair, which allows them to receive treatment that would otherwise have needed a more invasive approach, such as General Anaesthesia.
Jasleen qualified as a dentist in 2004 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Barts and The Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry. She went on to complete a three-year Masters’ Programme in Paediatric Dentistry at UCL which culminated in her being awarded a Masters in Paediatric dentistry with Distinction.
Jasleen has a Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF): Royal College of Surgeons. Since 2008 Jasleen has been a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry at The Royal London Hospital, providing clinical supervision to undergraduates and group teaching.
She gained her Post Graduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation in 2010.
Outside of the practice, Jasleen likes to relax by reading fiction, doing Pilates and spending time with her family.
